• PRIDE Seeds Announces New Corn Hybrids for 2010.  PRIDE Seeds has announced the launch of 15 new corn hybrids for Canadian corn producers that are available to plant in 2010. “The new hybrids that we are launching include the first higher performance PRIDE G8 Genuity™ SmartStax™ hybrids together with maturity leading PRIDE G3 and refuge hybrids for a number of maturity ranges,” says Stephen Denys, Vice President of Sales and Marketing with PRIDE Seeds.
  
  “Once again PRIDE is at the forefront of technology integration PRIDE G8 hybrids represent more than promises. They are technologies that are here now and offer substantial benefits in the area of broad-spectrum multi-site insect control and related refuge reduction.” “In addition to our PRIDE G8 products, new PRIDE G3 products will offer producers higher yield potential through the proven formula of best in class genetics combined with YieldGard VT Triple® technology,” notes Jon Klapwyk, Manager of Product Development and Agronomy for PRIDE Seeds. “We have seen a rapid adoption of this technology on farms across Canada, and these products will support our position and our customers’ yield potential in these maturities.” Klapwyk notes that the launch of new refuge hybrids strengthens PRIDE Seeds leadership in this area.
